Your Ownership

You retain full ownership of the prompts, inputs, and documents you supply to the application, subject to applicable third-party API terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PAA Agent ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the PAA Agent web application, APIs, and associated software services.

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, or interacting with the service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

PAA Agent is an artificial intelligence assistant platform providing:

  • Interactive conversational interfaces supporting text, markdown, LaTeX, and audio streaming.
  • Multi-model intelligence routing across local (e.g., Ollama) and cloud-based Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Tool and function invocation (calculators, web search via SearXNG, timezone tools, document indexing).
  • Autonomous sub-agents, including web browser automation and sandboxed software development (CoderAgent).
  • Persistent cognitive memory, reflective knowledge consolidation, and external webhook trigger integrations.

3. User Accounts & Security

To access personalized features, you may be required to register an account. On invite-protected instances, registration requires a valid administrative invitation code.

  • Account Confidentiality: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, session tokens, and any generated API keys. You must immediately notify the administrator of any unauthorized access.
  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration details.
  • API Keys: API keys issued for the OpenAI-compatible endpoint or trigger webhooks inherit your user permissions. You are solely liable for actions performed under your API credentials.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use PAA Agent to:

  • Engage in any unlawful, harmful, defamatory, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
  • Generate malicious code, malware, ransomware, exploits, or automate denial-of-service attacks.
  • Attempt to bypass, compromise, or break out of container sandboxes (e.g., Docker environments) or server security boundaries.
  • Disrupt, overload, or degrade the performance of the host server, Redis job queues, or upstream LLM provider quotas.
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication controls, or administrative user isolation mechanisms.
  • Prompt the AI to create child sexual abuse material (CSAM), promote self-harm, or facilitate cyber warfare or violence.

5. AI Generated Content Disclaimer

Important Notice on AI Probabilistic Outputs: PAA Agent utilizes probabilistic machine learning models. Responses generated by AI models may be factually incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misleading ("hallucinations"). You are solely responsible for verifying any critical output before relying upon it.

AI responses do not constitute certified legal, medical, surgical, financial, accounting, or professional engineering advice. Do not rely on PAA Agent for life-critical, medical triage, or hazardous operations.

6. Autonomous Agents & Execution

When utilizing autonomous tools and specialized agents (such as CoderAgent or BrowserAgent):

  • Sandboxed Development: CoderAgent provisions containerized environments (Node.js, Python, Git) to build software and run commands. You are responsible for inspecting code and shell commands executed by the agent.
  • Web Browsing: The browser agent queries external web pages and takes screenshots. While Safe Browsing filters are integrated, we cannot control external websites and are not liable for external third-party content.
  • External Triggers: Incoming webhook triggers (e.g., stock price alerts, calendar alarms) rely on external service configurations. We do not guarantee delivery or timeliness of third-party network triggers.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content: As between you and PAA Agent, you retain all ownership rights in the text, code, files, and prompts you provide to the platform.

AI Generated Outputs: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and the terms of the underlying model provider (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, or open-source licenses), you own the rights to the outputs generated for you by the service.

Platform Software: All rights, title, and interest in the PAA Agent software, interface design, branding, and proprietary algorithms belong to PAA Agent and its respective open-source licensors.

8. Third-Party Providers & APIs

Depending on deployment settings, the application connects to upstream external services:

  • LLM Providers: Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Google, MiniMax, etc.
  • Speech and Audio Services: Soniox (STT) and ElevenLabs (TTS).
  • Search Engines: SearXNG, DuckDuckGo.
  • Transactional Email: Mailjet.

Your use of features reliant on these providers is additionally subject to each respective third-party provider's terms and API usage agreements.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

PAA AGENT IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM BUGS, DATA CORRUPTION, TRANSMISSION DELAYS, OR PROMPT PROCESSING FAILURES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PAA AGENT, ITS MAINTAINERS, AFFILIATES, OR HOSTING OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS REPUTATION, ARISING FROM OR CONNECTED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM OR ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT.

11. Termination & Account Deletion

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting deletion or wiping your conversation and account history via the Settings panel.

Administrators reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user account immediately and without prior notice in the event of any violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, or security compromise.

12. Modifications & Contact

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material updates will be indicated by revising the effective date at the top of this document. Your continued use of PAA Agent after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
